T Ball has Started!

Owen has started his first year of T-Ball! He is loving it. Hal is coaching the team. I'm suppose to be his assistant but it's awfully difficult to run after Maddie, play the game and be pregnant. Sorry, but it just is. Owen is doing well though. He seems to really enjoy the game and is making new friends. That is definitly a nice thing as he usually makes friends very easily.

The first game is this Saturday. I'll try to get some on video and post it on here so everyone can see. If you wanna come, it's at Conneaut Lake at 10:00am! Let us know! We would love to see everyone there!

It's going to be a LONG summer!

So today was about 85 degrees and I'm already hating being pregnant over the summer. I'm hot, I'm miserable, I'm sweaty and I'm swollen! Yes, folks, SWOLLEN. My feet look like something from the Shrek movie and I can't even wear my wedding rings. It's horrible. I'm sitting here simply for the reason that I need to put my feet up so I can type with my feet on the computer desk! Boy, is this going to be a LONG summer!

Easter Day 1- Saturday

So we have never taken the kids to a town wide easter egg hunt before today. It was definitly interesting. They split the kids into age groups. Owen was across the lawn from Maddie's. So I took Maddie and Hal took Owen. We were there 20 minutes prior and the kids were ready to go. They were excited. Maddie kept saying "let me get those eggs" The Easter bunny gave every kid (probably like 200 kids) candy or a stuffed easter bunny. My kids got the bunny. Anyways, we were all ready and they said 3 more mins left. Maddie goes "Oh MOmmy, I have to pee!" I told her to hold it because we would be done in like 5 minutes. Then they said "GO!" and what did my darling little girl do....start screaming her little eyes out. She got 1 egg because I picked it up for her! OMG I couldn't believe it. HEre are all these 1 year olds grabbing tons of eggs and Maddie is standing there crying. It really scared her.

Then, Owen took about 5 steps and Hal said he fell on the ground. Got up and took off running. He got like 15 eggs. Which wasn't bad as there were sooo many kids. He did end up winning a stuffed bunny prize. They had some really awesome prizes including 10 bikes. So we were hoping he would have gotten one of those (for sissy of course) and then he got that bunny. He loves it though! He was so excited that we stood in line for 20 minutes to get the prize. We didn't know what it was but then they gave him the bunny and he was like "WOW Mom, I won a bunny!" LOL

It was fun. Then my mom and sis came and we made bird feeders to hang outside and flew kites. Eventful day!

The baskets are ready and eggs are stuffed for tomorrow!

Name...

People have asked, so I figured why not blog it....What is the baby's name? This is a good question because up until about 2 days ago, I could give you a straight answer. But, as of late, we may have decided to change it. For some reason, I opened Pandora's box and asked if Hal was completely set on our baby's name. And then he had to go and come up with a name that I like. So crap. But, we MOST definitly have a FIRST name!

PARKER!

Our baby boy's name is Parker. Middle name...may or may not change from recent conversations. When we decide, we shall let you know!

I had to have another U/s Today as I'm still in a lot of pain, so they checked my cervix to see if it was too short. Everything so far looks great and nothing appears to be wrong. So apparantly I'm just nuts. Although, I doubt it. :) But, I begged the lady to tell me what we are having....and the result is....................................

ER visit for Dear Old Mommy

Spent almost 5 hours there. I really thought I had a UTI or Kidney infection. They took cultures and blood work and none of those were true. They said I was slighly dehydrated and that was probably causing some discomfort but were concerned with the amount of pain and length of time I had had it. So they did an u/s. The baby looks GREAT! It was a fisty little fellow. Have no idea if it's a boy or girl because they wouldn't tell me in an emergency situation. ARG. I got to see the screen and that was about it. The baby is 9 ounces right now and measuring a week ahead. HB was 151. The problem mostly is that the baby is REALLY low and sitting directly on my bladder. So that is a lot of the pressure and pain I'm having. I also found out that I am seriously close to being anemic. I have to take Iron supplements because the baby is drawing all the iron outta my body. I have always been borderline anemic so this is not really a surprise to me.

So they gave me an IV and told me to pick up supplements on my way home. I stayed home today as I'm serious, this pain really sucks! It's horrible. I did a little better after a full hour of salin. But, not too much better. I'm drinking loads of electrolytes to keep my dehydration improving. I guess I'll just have to start to force myself to drink EVEN MORE than I already do!
